Hi, we're Gabe and Eva.
Our story started with a necklace. Eva walked up to Gabe and asked where he got the one he was wearing. We've been together for years now, and we've made a lot of necklaces since.
Something Something came from the two of us just loving to make things. Early on, a lot of our relationship was Eva teaching Gabe to sew, Gabe teaching Eva leatherworking, the two of us doing pottery, always some project on the table. We've both always loved pieces with meaning, things that last. Keepsakes, if you will.
Eva has always believed in investing in something that will last forever. She's the type of person who buys one piece she loves, puts it on, and lives in it. She doesn't take it off. It becomes a statement piece, and a piece of who she is. That's where the question that started most of our hobbies came from: what if we could make it ourselves?
So we set out to learn the craft together. There was a lot of trial and error in the beginning. But we started to figure it out, and before we knew it, the pieces we were making for ourselves were the ones other people wanted too. That's when the hobby became a business.
Made by hand, in Los Angeles
Everything we sell is made by us, from start to finish, in our studio in Los Angeles. Every piece is solid sterling silver or solid 14k gold. No plating, nothing that wears off. They're made to be worn every day and to look better for it.
Nothing sits on a shelf. When you order, we make your piece from scratch, in your size, in your metal. It takes a little longer, and that's the point. The piece that arrives was made for you.
The name comes from the saying "a little something something," the way you'd describe a gift someone gave you just because. That's what we hope these pieces are.
Thanks for being here. If you want to say hi or ask about something custom, we read every message at hello@somethingsomethingjewelry.com.
