Choosing your size
Every ring is made to order in your size. You'll find the available sizes for each ring on its product page when you're choosing your piece.
Need a larger size than what's listed? Email us at custom@somethingsomethingjewelry.com and we'd be happy to get you a quote and make it for you.
Quarter sizes: round up to the nearest size when you place your order, then email us your order number and the quarter size you'd like. We'll adjust your order accordingly.
Not sure of your size?
Three ways to find it, from most to least accurate:
1. Get sized at a jeweler. Any local jeweler will size your finger for free in about a minute. Ask for your US size.
2. Measure a ring you already own. Take a ring that fits the finger you're shopping for and measure the inside diameter in millimeters. Match it to the chart below.
| US size | Inside diameter |
|---|---|
| 4 | 14.9 mm |
| 4.5 | 15.3 mm |
| 5 | 15.7 mm |
| 5.5 | 16.1 mm |
| 6 | 16.5 mm |
| 6.5 | 16.9 mm |
| 7 | 17.3 mm |
| 7.5 | 17.7 mm |
| 8 | 18.1 mm |
| 8.5 | 18.5 mm |
| 9 | 19.0 mm |
| 9.5 | 19.4 mm |
| 10 | 19.8 mm |
| 10.5 | 20.2 mm |
| 11 | 20.6 mm |
| 11.5 | 21.0 mm |
| 12 | 21.4 mm |
3. Measure your finger. Wrap a thin strip of paper or string snugly around the base of your finger, mark where it overlaps, and measure the length in millimeters. Divide by 3.14 to get the diameter, then use the chart above. Measure at the end of the day when your hands are warmest, and make sure the ring can pass over your knuckle.
A few things to know
- Wide bands fit tighter. For bands wider than about 5 mm, consider going up a half size.
- Stacking rings are usually worn in your true size.
